Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Boudreau, 75, of Fishers, Indiana passed away peacefully on July 20, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 17, 1944 in Hartford, Connecticut to Camille and Loretta Boudreau. Camille gave his life serving in World War II when Larry was just six months old. Loretta was later remarried to George McCombe, and together they raised Larry and his two brothers in Rockville, Connecticut.
Larry was a graduate of Rockville High School, where he enjoyed playing baseball, soccer and basketball. After high school he went on to proudly serve in the Connecticut National Guard. His family loved to hear him share stories of his adventures in the Alaskan wilderness, where he spent time training.
Larry was a talented draftsman in the construction industry working for Coreslab Structures (previously Consolidated Precast) in Thomaston, Connecticut for many years. When he would speak of his work and profession, he always showed much enjoyment and passion. Larry was a sports enthusiast who played softball and bowled throughout much of his adult life. Whenever he wasn’t playing sports, Larry could be found watching them on television.
Larry is survived by his daughter Dianne Boudreau of Fishers, Indiana; his son Matthew Boudreau, his wife Jennifer and their three children – Logan, Evangeline and Dylan – all of Fishers, Indiana; his brother Gordy McCombe of Rockville, Connecticut; and his three nieces and one nephew. He is also survived by his former wife Alice Boudreau of Fishers, Indiana who continued to care for Larry in his later years.
Larry is preceded in death by his father Camille Boudreau, mother Loretta McCombe, step-father George McCombe and brother Lou Boudreau.
Larry will be laid to rest on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Cemetery following a memorial mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer Street, Southington, Connecticut. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent Hospice Care of Indianapolis – they took great care of Larry in his final days. See https://give.stvincent.org/donate and indicate St. Vincent Hospice in the designation field.

I thought the family might like to know Larry’s activities during high school. (I was also a pal of his and in his class of ’62).
Varsity Club (2,3,4); soccer (all 4 years); baseball (all 4 years); basketball (2,3); Ring-King and Queen Dance Committee (2); Banner yearbook committee (4); Junior-Senior Prom Committee (3). He truly was an all-around guy! From what he wrote in my yearbook, I know we were in chemistry class together. Rest in peace, Larry.
